You need to be aware this is our old blog. Dave (the blogger) started blogging when, as a family, we went to India for 3.5 months from April - August 2008. This blog is the story of our time there. You'll find lots about our story by going to the 'archives' section of the blog to the left below.

World Aids day

Support World AIDS Day
If you have 2 minutes today, have a look at www.joinred.com and check out Bono's speech on World AIDS Day (1st December) which is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Also check out Bono's speech at the http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/bononationalprayerbreakfast.htm.

He just is such a stunning orator on debt, HIV?AIDs, poverty etc .....

I saw some of what HIV/AIDS is doing in India this year and it's crap. Around forty million people are living with HIV throughout the world - and that number increases in every region every day. In the UK alone, more than 60,000 people are living with HIV and more than 7,000 more are diagnosed every year. Ignorance and prejudice are fuelling the spread of a preventable disease.

Do what YOU can eh (?) and so will we......
