Before you take a peak.....

You need to be aware this is our old blog. Dave (the blogger) started blogging when, as a family, we went to India for 3.5 months from April - August 2008. This blog is the story of our time there. You'll find lots about our story by going to the 'archives' section of the blog to the left below.

Another amazing day!!

Yep...they just keep on coming...... another very special day....We opened the Fishermen Trust office today!!!

You will have no doubt read in previous blogs that a number of people from the UK chipped in to provide for equipping the office for Raj and Nandu to start working from. Well, as I mentioned before £250 came in in 8 hours (thank you guys) and so over the last week we have been out and about buying office furniture, getting good deals, buying a laptop for the Trust etc

Today we cleared out the grotty office (see previous pics) and set up the office and dedicated it to God's work here in Bangalore. There were some tears around as it really feels things are hotting up now and we are moving into a new phase for the Trust. Here are some pics of the furnishing of the office and Tim/us praying for God's blessing on the place:

Then tonight we went to Sreeni's Friday night Church which has about 40 people go to it (normally). Mainly women who have been Hindus etc. Great place - lovely singing etc. We met at the bottom of a building site tonight (!) as the building they meet in will be finished in 2/3 months times and then Sreeni's Church will take occupancy of the ground floor. This is a long way from when they used to meet in a little wood/tin hut when I visited 5 years ago.

Tim, Sarah and I had to go up front to say 'Hi' and were presented with garlands. Tim then spoke and Sreeni translated.

Great time!
