Before you take a peak.....

You need to be aware this is our old blog. Dave (the blogger) started blogging when, as a family, we went to India for 3.5 months from April - August 2008. This blog is the story of our time there. You'll find lots about our story by going to the 'archives' section of the blog to the left below.

Words...

With Rob with us for the day today, it made me realise again all that India is and that sometimes we have taken for granted because we have been out here a while now. I am sure some of you saw these words that came to my mind when I recently wrote a newsletter, but here are the thoughts/words that again come to mind when I think of this great country:

Chaotic, noisy, disorganised, utterly poor, staggeringly rich, amazingly resourceful, overstaffed everywhere, beautiful, ugly, oppressive, free spirited, pro men/boys, growing, spiritual, open to new ideas, people focused, germ ridden, wonderful people, polluted, spectacular, deep, unkempt, filthy, lacking focus, expanding at a staggering rate, positive, fatalistic, open minded, intelligent, skilled, smelly, providers to the nations, lacking trust, submissive, respectful, a big family, caring, servant hearted, honouring, attractive, loving, spiteful, abusive, needing guidance, able to offer so much, untapped potential, dreamers, and, despite all this......

It’s still a country I stil love so much……
